It was transformed in to a private company in 2003 by its founder and current chairman Engr. M.M. Abul Hossain, an electrical engineer by profession and alumni of KUET (Khulna University of Engineering & Technology).

 Auto Power was established to manufacture the best quality Distribution and Power Transformer, HT Switch-gear, LT Switch-gear, PFI Plants, PLC Control Panels, Motor Control Panels and some specialized control panels to run any type of automated production systems. Auto Power maintains the best quality manufacturing process, testing facilities with all of its experienced and skilled professionals. The friendly BRANDS that are used with Auto Power panels are world famous brand like ABB (Germany) for VCB LBS & LT capacitor, SIEMENS (USA, Italy), CROMPTON (UK), DORMAN SMITH (UK) for MCCB, ACB & BBT. Auto Power factory size is 20000 sft. in a well-planned land at Teknogopara, Joydebpur, Gazipur. Developing its own engineering strength APPL now has a design and manufacturing capacity up to 10 MVA at 11 KV and 33 KV class. It will be extended up to 14 MVA very soon and the standards followed are IEC 76, ANS 157.12 and VDE 0532.

Auto Power has around 100 numbers of workmen strength who are trained technical people and 20 Engineers from home and abroad to provide the required services to customers. The maintenance and service strength is consists of 25 numbered skilled technical team having full range of testing tools and equipment. So maintenance backup and after sales support definitely be better from a manufacturer than a trader.
